Phil founded the Community Restoration Project because he believes that every family and individual in our community can succeed if a formula for success is present. As a seasoned social services executive, Phil most recently served as executive director of Georgia Works! A program whose mission is to help men achieve permanent self-sufficiency by providing help with addiction, homelessness, and employment. During his tenure, more than 875 men achieved self-sufficiency with an overall long-term success rate of 80%. Prior to that, he served as a Director of United Way of Greater Atlanta in the Homelessness Division. Phil brings the same commitment for success to this new endeavor as we aim to better our communities by restoring the physical, mental, and spiritual foundation of families in underserved communities. Phil is a 1981 graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. He resides in Fairburn, Georgia
